About our Client - Our client is one of the biggest conglomerates in the world listed on NYSE and NASDAQ and has a long standing presence in India. Their operations in India are across all dimensions. They are now looking for a Plant controller to join their team in Pune.

Job Description - The role is essential to the controllership organization of Plant operations at Pune. The job entails supporting the controllership effort across the region and Energy Plant operation. The role will be reporting to the Divisions India Controller. The job responsibilities will include (not limited to):

- Support all Plant Finance, controllership and commercial activities including set up and design processes around compliance and control

- Support Finance implementation of ERP for Manufacturing operations for MCS

- Defines and executes on process improvement projects related to financial controllership

- Financial oversight to Direct Costs, Labor, Bill of Material, Overheads and Purchasing. Coordinate with sourcing and supply chain to control costs and deliver cost out

- Ensure 100% compliance to laws, taxes, policy requirements and maintenance of high quality accounting records

- Balance sheet MIS and analysis, Balance sheet reviews/audit and ownership of fixing the issues along with business team

- Hands on work on fixing controllership & accounting issues

- Ensure that the business is in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), applicable laws and regulations

- Drive process improvements around tax compliances to ensure timely and proper guidance and effective implementation

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA with atleast 5 years of relevant experience in an MNC, preferably in a plant setup and audit background. Experienced in controllership, with strong analytical and leadership skills. Ideal candidate will be sharp, energetic and goal oriented.
