About Our Client

Our client is the largest research driven bio pharmaceutical Swiss MNC having a global turnover of $1.5bn and currently having its operations in 50 countries. With strong presence in India and currently building the state of art research and development center they are looking to stabilize their finance function by appointing a Finance Controller based out of Mumbai.

Job Description

Reporting into the Asia Pacific Finance Controller based out of China your responsibilities are:

- Reviewing and implementing new controls and systems to enable smooth functioning within the finance team

- Ensuring monthly accounting closures, formulating MIS, managing legal entities B/S and P&L as per company policies and guidelines

- Developing and maintaining budget control measures in order to save costs

- Formulating credit policies for the group and ensure the DSO levels are as per business standards

- Liasoning with Tax Authorities, interacting with internal stakeholders in order to reduce tax exposures and help achieve tax benefits

The Successful Applicant

- You must be a CA with 8-12 years of post qualification experience having handled a finance team of atleast 8 people for a MNC in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

- You possess strong accounting knowledge, have implemented new controls and systems in order to improve system hygiene and handled the commercial space in your past role. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
