Job Description :

- Managing the accounting and audit function, including finalisation of books of accounts, statutory audit, MIS reporting and stakeholder management.

Our client is a US-based renowned player in the oil & gas industry. With presence in over 15 countries globally, they are now looking for a strategic individual to lead their accounting function.

Description :

As the Finance Controller, you would be reporting to the Head of Finance. Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

1. Financial reporting, accounting and corporate finance

2. Managing statutory auditors (Big 4) and closing regulatory reporting with RBI / FEMA deadlines

3. Debtor / Creditor reporting and reconciliations

4. MIS reporting

5. Ensure compliance with statutory and financial regulations

Profile :

The ideal candidate would meet all of the following criteria :

- Chartered Accountants (Preferably 1st or 2nd attempt) with 4-8 years of post-qualification experience

- The candidate should be strong in financial reporting and accounting, with experience in IGAAP / IFRS

- Experience should be in one of the following industries : Manufacturing - Metals & Mining, FMCG, heavy manufacturing; Trading - Oil & Gas, Commodity

- He / She should possess strong interpersonal skills, due to multiple stakeholder management
