About Our Client

Our client is a 50 year old US multinational having its presence in over 40 countries specializing in manufacturing high performance printers for ID and card personalization solution. They are currently looking to Set-up and expand their operations in India and are looking for a Finance Controller to spearhead the finance and accounting function based out of their headquarters in Mumbai.

Job Description

Reporting into the India Managing Director and the Regional Finance Director based out of US your responsibilities would be:

- Ensuring that the financial reporting deadlines are met and they are in accordance with IGAAP and USGAAP

- Working with external tax consultants to ensure tax compliance are met as per Indian Tax Laws and formulate tax saving mechanism for the group

- Preparing long term growth strategy, formulate budgets and highlighting key variances to the management to maintain a strong grip on the business growth

- Helping support and analyze in commercial matters, contract documents and government tenders and bidding process

- Acting as a business partner to the regional director in business strategy and recommend cost optimization techniques to enhance profit margins

- Assisting in setting up process and controls to ensure better productivity

- Maintaining strong relationships with Bankers to avail working capital benefits and manage cash requirements

The Successful Applicant

- You are a CA with 7 + years of post qualification experience only from a manufacturing industry. You have had strong finance and accounting contorllership experience in a Multinational in India and have adept knowledge on both direct and Indirect taxation. You must have a Startup” or “Greenfield” experience with an India subsidiary of a foreign owned parent company. You have strong communication both written and spoken along with able leadership abilities to spearhead the Finance function for a start-up.
