Finance Controller - Mfg/Auto

Finance Controller- NYSE listed Comp

Looking for a Finance Controller - 7+yrs post CA (Preferably 1st attempt) for a leading NYSE manufacturing Company.

Role-

The incumbent must be well versed with US GAAP/IFRS/Indian GAAP.

1. Business Finance Controller for the Group

2. Partnering with the Divisional heads within the Group in accomplishing the Divisional Financial Objectives (both topline and bottom line)

3. Manage EBITA & Cash Flow improvement initiatives

4. Reducing DSO (AR) & DOS (Inventory)

5. Leading divisional Business performance Review Process

6. Responsible for the correctness and completeness of the Reported Financials for the BU

7. Ensuring adherence to Revenue Recognition norms

8. Timely communication to ensure that there are no last minute surprises

9. Ensuring tight fiscal discipline - Controlling Controllable costs & discretionary spends

10. Leading Business Planning & Forecasting Exercise for the Divisions within the Group

11. Supporting the commercial operations in terms of thorough Contract Reviews and compliance with the company policies & approval authority matrix

12. Providing support in Product Pricing & Profitability analysis

13. Ensuring that the Business Model adopted by the Business Units is Tax Compliant (including Transfer Pricing Compliance)

14. Financial Due Diligence for Capital Projects within the BU

15. Supporting Practical Process Improvement Initiatives & validating savings arising out of the same

16. Supporting Corporate Finance Initiatives

a. Statutory, Tax & Internal Audit

b. Treasury Management

c. Transactions Processing areas

d. Month-end Financial Reporting

17. Managing multiple stakeholder expectations

18. One Point Contact for the BUs for Finance

19. SOX Compliance

20. Professional Track role (ie does not involve people management responsibilities. The Finance organization is supported by a Central Finance & Accounting team)
