About our Client - Our client is one of the largest manufacturing companies with operations spanning 35+ countries and employ more than 30,000 people. They are market leaders in the space and are an established brand with a strong pipeline of new products they are due to launch. They have had consistent growth across the Asia Pacific region that has led to the creation of a new role as a Finance Manager to head up the research center based in Bangalore.
Job Description - You would be reporting to the India CFO with a dotted line to the Head of operations. As a brief overview of your responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all the finance activities/processes for smooth transmission of the SAP project
- Responsible for the control over accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and consolidation in IFRS
- Responsible for statutory audit, tax audit and internal audit for the new technology center
- Reporting for monthly and quarterly management accounting for the research center
- In addition, you would be responsible for leading, grooming and motivating a team of 3 people.
The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant with 8 plus years post qualification experience and have been working in an MNC manufacturing industry handling a turnover of more than 150Cr. You have hands on exposure to accounting in IFRS, I-GAAP, direct and indirect taxation. You are process oriented and have worked on SAP (Ideally if you have worked on transitions). You have strong communication skills, exposure to handling multiple stakeholders and a demonstrated track record in leading projects. You would be ideal if you have both MNC shared service and industry exposure.
