About our Client - Our client is a global market leader within the media space and has presence in over 100 countries. In India their office is based out of South Mumbai and they are now seeking an experienced professional to head their Finance Team

Job Description - As a Finance Controller you will be reporting into the CFO and will be responsible for Developing, installing and maintaining structures to support businesses, develop the organization and personnel within it Ensuring financial policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to

- Heading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control

- Formulating business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation, minimizing working capital & realizing organizational goals without adversely affecting flexibility

- Conducting critical evaluation of internal control systems for any possible improvement in the system

- Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by preparing financial statements viz., P&L Account, Balance Sheet and annual reports.

The Successful Candidate - As a successful applicant you will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10 to 12 years post qualification experience with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Experience within the media industry is highly preferred. You come with excellent communication skills and with experience in working with international stake holders.
