About the role:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring effective financial planning, budgeting, compliance, risk management and reporting. This role is crucial for maintaining financial stability, optimizing resources and supporting business growth while ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets and forecasts to drive business objectives.

2. Ensure accurate financial reporting, audits and statutory compliance while maintaining strong internal financial controls.

3. Optimize cash flow, working capital and fund allocation to ensure financial stability.

4. Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks while ensuring policy and regulatory adherence.

5. Collaborate with banks, auditors and regulatory authorities, providing financial insights to senior management.

6. Leverage ERP systems for financial operations, budgeting and MIS reporting to enhance efficiency.

7. Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to strengthen overall financial performance and compliance.

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. MBA in Finance or an equivalent degree is an added advantage.

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling roles, in the manufacturing sector.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws and corporate finance principles.

- Proficient in ERP systems and financial analysis tools.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills.

Skills Required:
