Finance Controller - Manufacturing Business Unit - CA/CPA/ICWA

BU Finance Controller in Pune

RESPONSIBILITIES : 

- Measuring financial and operational performance and drive the profitability growth by analyzing results, identifying key drivers and directing the management on risks and opportunities.

- Responsible for long term strategy execution, driving cost reduction initiatives, investment appraisals and compliance to US GAAP, Specifications and environment management system procedures.Pro-actively reporting and investigating materials and labor variances. Ensure alignment with EMEA finance controller.

- Supporting preparation of financials, cash flows, budgets and forecasts and maintenance and continuous improvement of accounting processes and other regulatory and statutory compliances.

- Oversee the activities of the finance team and guide and develop them; ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

- Qualified charted Accountant/ CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ICWA

- MBA (Finance)

- Understanding of business dynamics and operations

- Manufacturing process knowledge / skills

- Strong Analytical knowledge /skills.

- Overall knowledge of Taxation and GAAP

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

- 12+ years prior experience in finance, costing and audit

- Experience of providing Financial Controls to specific Business units and multiple stake holders.

- Experience using a financial software package is required, specific experience in SAP or other ERP system is strongly preferred

- Manufacturing experience in multinational manufacturing company
