Role and Responsibilities:
- Be the custodian of business cashflow within the organization. Protect and safeguard capital, ensure positive cashflow, improve cycle time, and drive process and habits that promote strong financial health.
- Drive best practices, and our financial strategy within the finance function as well as across commercial teams, and implement policies effectively across demand, supply, admin, and other teams, right from contract terms, all the way through invoicing, cash in the bank, and settlement.
- Work closely with product teams to systematically help digitalize and automate various repetitive financial and accounting activities.
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations including Billing, Payroll, AR, AP, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, income statements, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and any other activity yet to be automated.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Drive processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure Debt management and collection.

What we look for:
- Proven experience in managing tight cashflow operations and financial control for a B2B transaction business with a large number of products and services with complex taxation.
- Track record of systematically improving cashflow and ROC through the right mix of process, policy, automation, and diligence.
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have a knack for finding root cause for bad cashflow, and aligning internal stakeholders and external policies and their enforcement, in order to steer underlying business habits towards yielding good cashflow.
- Have a deep understanding of global trade and supply chain industry, and the nuances of various commercial terms and norms that ultimately impact our cashflow cycles.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in business administration, finance from a top school is preferred.
- CA is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Controller in a B2B Business.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
