Job Description :

- The role of Finance Controller demands the person in authority to look after the end to end accounting, managing the cash flows, building the financial strategies, carry out financial analysis, help reduce the cost by identifying efficiency's and opportunities.

Client Details :

It's an American freight transportation company in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain having their shared services setup in Mumbai City providing less than truck load and truck brokerage services to their customers based in different countries. They are one the leading supply chain companies partnering with blue chip companies across industries.

Description :

The Finance Controller will be required to perform:

- Cash flow management: Monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimise funds flow.

- Banking: Ensuring funding through managing receivables and managing banking relationships.

- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local law, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations. Including TDS, GST, PF etc.

- Approving transactions: Ensuring transactions are properly approved and coded in the general ledger. Managing Inter-Co reconciliations with regular periodicity.

- Audit liaison: Coordinating with external financial, compliance and tax auditors.

- Budget: Assisting or fully creating the budget, including incorporating historical data.

- Financial strategy: Assist in developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.

- Cost savings: Identifying efficiency and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.

- Reporting and analysis: Providing financial reporting and analysis to guide decision-making.

- External reporting: Preparing company tax and financial statements.

- Stakeholder - Internal teams and External Consultants

Profile:

The successful candidate for the position of Finance Controller must have:

- CA/CMA/CS

- Management graduate with Finance

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience

- Well versed with software tools like MS-Office, Power BI, Oracle

- Good Communication Skills

- Good to have Legal Knowledge (Company's law)
