Finance Controller - FMCG - CA

Position :

 1) Business Finance Controller

2) Site Finance Controller

Education - CA (1st attempt) preferred

Experience - 15 - 20 yrs

Location - looking at hiring multiple positions for different businesses of the group.

- This position is with a conglomerate having presence in diversified sectors. They are looking at hiring leadership finance positions for their different businesses.

- The group is augmenting their finance function therefore looking at hiring multiple leaders for their different businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities : 

- Commercial finance, controllership that includes plant operations, performance measurement, receivables & payables, indirect & direct tax, cost management, expenses control and working capital management etc.

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Additional controller duties as necessary
