About our Client - Our client is a leading European MNC within the FMCG sector and have a presence in over 100 + countries. They are looking for an experienced Finance Controller / Deputy CFO to join their Indian corporate office in Pune.

Job Description - As a Finance Controller you will be handling a team of 5 while reporting into the CFO. You will be responsible for :

- Ensuring local statutory, group and tax books are complete and accurate on a real time basis and get submitted to appropriate authorities on time and according the valid standards.

- Ensuring assets and liabilities in the balance sheet represent a true and fair value in compliance with local statutory and tax principles and guidelines.

- Ensuring governance model is working and related processes are fully compliant with group and local policies / regulations.

- Financial Compliance, ensuring a good internal controls framework & ultimately accountable for following through on all relevant compliance issues (from internal audit, Sox, LOA) in the areas of financial operations

- Ensuring alignment and adherence to the Group Treasury Policy

- Sustaining high standards on verification of assets and liabilities in the balance sheet, review and approve financial tax & statutory accounting schedules, ensure compliance to standardized accounting, reporting and financial systems as well as policies and procedures

The Successful Candidate - As a successful applicant you will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 12 - 15 years post qualification experience. You will currently be working in the capacity of a Finance Controller for a 1500+ CR manufacturing business and have strong experience in handling large teams.
