Finance Controller - FMCG

This role is with an FMCG Company

Candidates required from FMCG sectors only who can relocate to Guwahati

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Financial Statements :

- Ensure timely finalization and closure of the book of accounts including the preparation of balance sheet, P& L, and other financial statements

- Assist Project leadership in key financial decisions, evaluating project budget, MIS, and operational reviews

- Accurate and timely processing of monthly results and other MIS

- Supervise and review the consolidation of financial statements

- Developing, improving, and maintaining financial processes and internal control for correct bookkeeping & revenue assurance

- Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements

Risk Management :

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

- Ensure that the company complies with all GST & other taxes

- Timely Filings and ensure no outflows/fines/ levies imposed on account of non-compliance

- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies

- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry

- Review and monitor critical payments, collections, accounting, and financial systems

Planning & Strategy :

- Own the entire financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and project controls for the operations of the organization

- Identify & evaluate opportunities to further the growth of the organization both from a top-line & bottom-line perspective
