We are seeking a Finance Controller with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage and oversee the financial operations at our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance management, accounting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets. Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Accounting & Reporting: Oversee all accounting functions, including ledger management, financial statement preparation, and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations to control costs and optimize financial performance.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to maintain financial stability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies to support overall business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial operations.

- Financial Management: Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Accounting Expertise: Proficiency in accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
