- The company is looking to partner with companies that have built products based on unique consumer insights in niche categories like fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), sports, home organisation, and lifestyle, among others.

- The company has developed assets and expertise in marketing, technology, logistics, and product innovation.

Designation: Finance Controller

Experience: 7 - 10 years working with Startup Organizations

Qualification: Chartered Accountant / MBA

Key Responsibility Area:

- Evaluating all deal related documentation for smooth transition into the Company's framework comprising of setting up of common accounting systems, common chart of accounts, implementation of ICFR and relevant operational controls and assisting in secretarial records completion

- Review of all deal related settlement and accounting for the same whether as deferred consideration or under anticipated acquisition method as put option liability

- Managing processes for ultimate consolidation into the main entity

- Reviewing of work of accounting team members

- Verifying of working capital settlement between the company and acquired entities and ensuring correct amount is paid. If the same was paid at the time of deal, then raising recovery claims and getting the amount recovered

- Arranging working capital finance for acquired companies for none or very limited credit history

- Identification of all allocable expenses and developing a framework to allocate the same to relevant brands

- Managing MIS process for acquired companies as well as the group

- Managing the insurance program comprising of Comprehensive General liability policy, Directors' and officers' insurance policy, Marine Insurance and Stock insurance

- Managing direct tax and indirect tax matters identified in due diligence resolved and closed

- Preparing of books of accounts , audited by a global audit firm within timeline

- Preparing and compilation of all subsidiary data for the process of parent entity of the company

- Managing multiple auditors, tax consultants and ensuring timely completion of all statutory and tax audits and tax filings

- Managing complex accounting of PPA , goodwill and income tax and getting the same cleared by global audit firms

- Managing GST returns by filing the same from accounting system along with reconciliation
