About the Role:

We are currently hiring a Finance Controller to control, optimise and structure the business expenses (vertical wise), ensuring targeted cost of doing business resulting in increased Revenue per person, Revenue per SKU, Revenue per customer. Streamlining of business expenses and setting & continuous monitoring SOP of the same so that approvals are required only for exceptional cases. Specific control system over, promotions, ads, discounts, target-based incentives, internal incentives, controlling KRA payouts, Taxation, book closing, audit compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Planning, budgeting & forecasting:

a. Work on planning, budgeting and forecasting with yearly budgets, various functions and businesses

b. Accounting Controls, MIS Data extrapolation

c. Performing financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modelling. Presenting recommendations to category leadership on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives

d. Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augments transparency and improves controls. Validate scenario analysis/simulations / 'what if' analysis prepared by Functional Heads / SBU Heads

e. Historical trend analysis of capital and operating expenditures for budget creation and decision support

f. Consolidate and monitor annual budgets and forecasts received from various Functions and SBU Heads

g. Facilitate financial reviews with business group and work with category leader to ensure effective finance and cost management.
