Finance Controller - CA - Manufacturing

Qualification & Skills Required:

- CA with 8+ years of experience working with US based Manufacturing Company.

- US GAAP and SAP is must

- Looking for local candidates (Mumbai/Pune)

- Candidate should be stable

- The Finance Controller will be responsible for coordinating, administering and controlling all the accounting and financial activities.

- In addition, the Finance Controller will also be responsible for the IT, Legal & Commercial teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Establish operational objectives for the finance, IT, Legal and Commercial Teams and ensuring their implementation.

- As part of the Core Leadership Team, be responsible for all key management, financial and strategic decisions of the company.

- Act as financial guide and advisor to the Managing Director and Other Division Heads

Work closely with the Business teams:

a) Managing Credit & Collection, payment terms

b) Negotiation of large customer, service and other contracts

c) Formulating incentive and other schemes

d) Defining & monitoring pricing, developing margin improvement initiatives

e) Cost control, Inventory Management

f) Analyse the performance of the company, provide insight of the same to stake holders.

- Handle the cash flows of the organisation.

- Plan the development of the company (midrange plan, budget). Prepare detailed budgets and monitor them through the year through fortnightly outlooks etc.

- Provide early identification of risks/opportunities.

- Work closely with the shared services team who provide accounting transactional support

- Set up and maintain internal controls within the organisation that meet the needs of a SOX environment. Remediate Control deficiencies that may be identified.

- Improve end to end processes in collaboration with other stake holders - lead the change

- Timely & accurate submissions of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements as per US GAAP for consolidation in the US using Hyperion

- Ensure compliance with all India regulatory requirements including direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing etc. liaise with external consultants

- Ensure India GAAP reporting and audit, tax audits

- Manage the company secretarial functions of the company - organising and conducting board meetings, maintaining statutory secretarial records, evaluating various contracts with suppliers, dealers, distributors etc.
