Finance Controller - Hydraulics; CA/CMA; 7-10 Yrs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial targets and resource allocations.
- Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, customs duties, and transfer pricing requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities during audits, assessments, and regulatory filings.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risk.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the business, recommending proactive measures to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master's degree or professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (IND AS), taxation laws, and regulatory requirements for manufacturing companies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing finance team. Integrity, ethics, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
