Finance Controller

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE:

- Education: Certified CA with 5+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. MS or MBA in a finance related field, ICSI certified CS certification, and experience working with global CXO level executives or senior leaders preferred.

- Strategic Leadership and Financial Management: Act as a strategic leader, providing CFO-level guidance and oversight for India operations. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Ensure effective financial management, statutory and tax compliance, and financial reporting to drive informed decision making.

- Data Analysis and Insights: demonstrates thought leadership by conducting comprehensive data analyses, interpreting complex information, and deriving actionable insights. Effectively communicates data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, actively identifying trends, variances, and opportunities through regular financial analyses

- Process Management and Accountability: establishes and oversees robust processes and systems to drive accountability for action plans committed by leadership. Cultivates a culture of results-oriented performance, continuous improvement, and monitors progress to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives and alignment with goals.

- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Conducts comprehensive financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Identifies and communicates key financial insights, trends, and risks to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to lead the annual budgeting process and align financial objectives across the division.

- Operations Analytics and Growth Strategy: Collaborates with operational leadership teams to drive improvements in key performance metrics. Conducts detailed analyses to manage ongoing performance and recommend operational enhancements. Leads strategic analyses to support business growth, including forecasting, market analysis, and investment recommendations.

Knowledge of how to articulate innovative ideas, align various stakeholders and team members to shared goals, and be practised at negotiation and vendor management.
