Finance Controller - CA

Job Description:

The successful individual shall be responsible for

- Accounting & controllership activities for India including Group reporting requirements

- Compliance with local statutory and tax requirements

- Maintaining and effective Controls & Compliance environment

- Managing accounting in a client centric environment with back to back billing.

- Managing internal and external audits for the legal entity

- Design, develop, troubleshoot, evaluate and publish in-depth financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.

- Report on the financial performance and lead in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reviews

- Develop and publish key performance indicators and regular business metrics

- Help evolve the team's practices, constantly looking for improvements in analyzing and understanding data and reporting

- Drive process improvements, cost savings, and support new business initiatives

The role will be responsible to ensure the Company complies with US GAAP, local GAAP; local applicable governmental rules and regulations; company policy & procedures and other corporate guidelines. The incumbent will be supported by a small finance team.

The Successful Applicant

- Minimum of 4 years of accounting and reporting experience, with 3 years of experience as Financial Controller in a start-up or Indian Company.

- Must be a qualified CA.

- Considerable experience at a senior level Finance environment.

- Comfortable working in an international company in a matrix environment

- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented, while also seeing and understanding the big picture

- Has hands on experience in ERP systems, Tally, Zoho & QuickBooks

- Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities

- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects

- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving with exceptional accuracy on provided figures

- Solution driven approach to systems and processes

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Advanced skills in Excel is a must

- Relevant experience in business finance.

- Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional team

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
