Finance Controller - CA

Job Description:

The Finance Controller for this firm will be based in India but will handle the finance related activities of the firm's operations in India and other countries where we have a presence. This position will work closely with the top Leadership.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Accounting oversight with firm grasp on prevailing accounting standards

2. Monthly closing of Financials

3. Experience in effective management reporting and MIS

4. Finance functions - dealing with banks, managing funds and credit facilities, foreign exchange strategies

5. Good hold on any one of the ERPs

6. Sound knowledge of internal controls and preferably some internal audit exposure

7. Solid communication skills, having knowledge and conviction and being able to stand up to leadership

8. Internal client service approach, people skills

Required Candidate profile:

To be tailor-fit for the above skillsets, the candidate would need to be:

- A Chartered Accountant with at least 15 years of experience with a Service organization with exposure to accounting / controlling functions and strong accounting and analytical skills

- Worked extensively on SAP or any other reputed ERP, MS Excel, MS Power Point etc.

- Candidates from Mumbai preferred.

- Self-Starter, independently sets goals, objectives, and priorities

- Strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills

- Leadership and presentation skills

- People management and mentoring skills
