Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our team in Mohali. This is a full-time hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working remotely a few days a week.

As a Finance Controller, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, lead financial reporting and analysis, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires a strong accounting foundation, analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills to support business decision-making and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

- Lead and manage accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations

- Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records

- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and systems

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance

- Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- CA / CPA qualifications are strongly preferred

- 612 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting

- Proven expertise in financial statements and financial reporting

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

- Prior experience in the services industry is a plus
