Title of the position :Finance Controls Lead
Reporting Lines : Position holder reports to: CFO India
PART I:TASKS
Objective of the position
- Ensure appropriate Financial Controls are in Place.
- Systems implementation & Stabilisation of SAP R/3.
- Documented Financials Policies and Procedures for India.
Responsibilities
- Overall Responsible for Financial Controls for India.
- Responsible for Internal Financial Controls as required by Companies Act 2013.
- Focal Point for All Financial System Implementation Projects for India.
- Develop Documented policies & Procedures for India.
- Control Checks & verifications at Project sites, Manufacturing Locations, & Service Locations.
- Work on Control Framework, monitor Gaps and work towards addressing Gaps in control framework.
- Regular Testing of Financial Controls.
- Monitor Processes followed by Outsourced Partners
Main tasks
- SAP R/3 Implementation.
- Other System Implementation such as Expense Management System
- Establish Internal Financial Controls.
- Develop & Deliver top quality Finance Procedures.
- Develop Framework for monitoring Outsourced partners.
PART II: Relevant skills and competencies of the position
Qualification, competencies and skills
- Bachelor of Commerce & Chartered Accountant.
Required professional experience
- Around 5 to 7 years of Relevant Experience with Infrastructure Power or OEMs, .
- Big 4 Working Background.
- Working with large MNCs
- Should have handled at least two SAP R/3 implementation.
- Experience in rolling out Internal Financial Controls
Specific required skills:
- Knowledge of Working with SAP R/3.
- Good writing skills, Conceptual clarity on Financial Accounting and systems development.
- Change Management and Stakeholder Management.
IT Skills:
- Professional experience in MS Office & SAP R/3
Leadership experience
- Ability to work with Outsourced agencies, engage with them and motivate them.
Language skills:
- Fluent English
