Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing

Manufacturing Finance Business Partner for Chennai location

- Lead financial integration/separation in alignment with global frameworks set by Industries and Manufacturing and Assembly Centers.

- Serve as a strategic business partner to local, regional, and global management teams.

- Collaborate with business leaders to enhance margin performance across Manufacturing and Assembly center operations. Work closely with Group Finance teams to enhance transparency and ensure profitability through robust analytics and insights.

- Develop tailored financial reports for each factory, ensuring clarity on cost of goods sold (COGS) and selling, general, and administrative (SG&A) expenses.

- Coordinate input gathering from various departments to formulate budgets and forecasts.

- Conduct regular reviews of headcount utilization, evaluating resource needs against production schedules.

- Manage standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and adjustments in consultation with business and management.

- Perform quarterly reconciliation of actual costs versus standard costs, including under/overabsorption charge-out.

- Analyze financial and operational data against budget and forecast, focusing on order intake, revenue, margins, cost levels, absorption, and Net Working Capital (NWC). Proactively identify trends requiring corrective action and drive improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with the global team to identify and implement best practices and performance improvement opportunities, including the adoption of new Global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Identify priority areas for investment to enhance profitability and support capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.

- Undertake special projects as required, such as the upcoming implementation of a new ERP system.
