Finance and Business Operations Executive (Bid Management)

- Oversees all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner. You will negotiate the best supply costs and terms in relation to the customer requirements to ensure that the customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities :

- Providing timely, accurate and user targeted reports for distribution to senior management, practices and functional teams

- Maintaining a suite of know-how and tools that can be deployed to support commercial decisions e.g. pricing and resourcing

- Assess the Return of Investment (ROI) on the bid

- Reviewing and enhancing Financial Planning and Analysis processes aspiring wherever possible to simplify, standardise and automate

- Taking Ownership of Resource Management, Compliance Testing, Contract Management, Service Level Management, Service Planning / Lifecycle and Project Administration to drive the day-day and periodic operational processes of the business

- Introducing process improvements, understanding business control requirements to ensure compliance, managing multiple stakeholder relationships, and applying knowledge of business and financial tools and acumen to improve business performance

- Budgets based on general contracts administration, including payments, claims and variation orders to analyse profitability

- Pricing information for submission

- Works closely with Project Managers and Client on all daily project operations

- After winning the tender or bid from the customer, prepare general contracts administration, including payments, claims and variation orders of project Project Progress Claims, Variations and Final Accounts

- All aspects of the contractual and financial side of project

Qualification And Experience :

i. CA or CW or MBA (Finance) with 2-3 Years of Experience in RFI/RFP/Bid/ Proposal Management with Commercial awareness complemented by a curiosity to identify, investigate and explain anomalies

ii. Able to work independently, under general direction; creating, communicating and delivering organised work plans

iii. Able to prioritise and organise, ensuring all tasks are completed at the right time, scope and quality with a minimal level of rework or duplication

iv. Collaborating across teams and offices to achieve successful outcomes with the appropriate levels of support and challenge

v. Communicates (verbally and in writing) clearly and concisely. High proficiency to not only actively listen but also, articulate plans, frame issues and propose solutions

vi. Committed to personal growth; keen to grow their role and progress their career in a dynamic environment

vii. Strong negotiation skills, experience in managing claims and variation works

viii. Familiarity with prevailing market rates of materials and labour

ix. Ability to distinguish valid variation orders and managing variation order claims
