- The Finance Analyst is responsible for the financial management of a key business unit, delivering multi-million dollar brand sales & profit targets and shape future strategy for some of our key global platforms.
- Develop and build robust, assumption-led short and long-range plans, working collaboratively with a variety of functions
- Lead business model development plans across New Products, HMM, and SRM over 3-year time frame in partnership with Business Unit Director across International segment.
- Work cross functionally to develop strong innovation pipeline across multiple markets, whilst optimizing profitability and margin delivery across key strategic brands.
- Present innovation key insights and learnings to leadership
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership on innovation items and marketing investment for annual plan process (based on innovation pipeline)
- Drive strong business partnership with Marketing Teams to drive value-creation across brand / consumer activities. Responsible for the analysis of change, insightful commentary for entire brand P&L and influencing investment decision.
- Provide financial and business insights through robust analysis, generating value-added management reports, and identifying and monitoring performance metrics that deliver top tier business results.
- Provide relevant and insightful analysis along with recommendations to the brand leadership team to improve the quality of decisions and ensure the chosen business options deliver the highest financial value at an acceptable level of risk
- Proactively develop reports, tools and insights for stakeholders and drive/influence business decision making
- Setting up and tracking of Marketing, Trade, Advertisement and Admin budgets for the business unit
- Co-lead with the business partner in the profit management of business, objective assessment of risks and opportunities
- Perform trend, mix and other analysis to drive holistic margin management.
- Lead business case scenarios to guide marketing investment decisions across the business
- Responsible for tracking and reporting of all new product development performance vs budget & YOY
- Scenario planning and building of business cases across Brand/Unit initiatives as and when required
- Partner with cross functional departments and region teams on business KPIs gap analysis for a business unit
