Position : Finance Analyst - Plant

Location : Navi Mumbai - Taloja

Criteria:- : CA /ICWA with 4+ years' experience in Plant Costing, Financial & Operations Analyst from Manufacturing Industry

Other Skills:

- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles-understands P&L and balance sheet dynamics.

- Demonstrated high growth in previous experience

- Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of other languages is an asset

- Good skills on Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Job Description:

Reporting and Analysis:

- Partners and at times leads the plant's financial planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes

- Assist in preparation and finalization of plant's financial forecasts and projections

- Carries out the plant's monthly closing process along with the Plant finance leader and other support

- Communicates plants financial results effectively with logical reasoning and understanding of the underlying background

- Assists the plant finance leader in providing risk analysis for contingency planning

- Month/Quarter and Year end activities like complete responsibility of facility standard costing calculations and uploads

- Supporting Capital spend with controls and Capital Efficiency initiatives

- Conducts periodic Fixed Assets, Inventory and Alloy counts and audits

- Partners in driving the reduction of working capital with in-depth analysis of Inventories and drive to reduce the slow-moving stocks

- Successfully transition projects from 'Planning to Execution'.

- Provides insightful and competitive analytics that anticipate change and drive decision making

- Provides investment analysis

- Assists in contract evaluation and negotiation where needed

- Educates plant personnel on key performance metrics and financial results

Operations planning:

- Supports Plant Finance Leadership in the development of plant operational objectives & strategy to align with Corporate and Business strategic objectives

- Pro-actively partners the development of productivity improvement, corrective actions, and contingency plans to ensure to meet the overall goal of facility financial results and shareholder value is optimized

Financial and Operational Controls:

- Participates in the actions to ensure there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems and adherence to corporate policies and governmental regulations (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.)

- Participates in the Continuous Sign-off process to support the Plant Finance Leader report internal controls in clear and validated manner

Cross-functional team contribution:

- Cost Reporting for India legal entity company as required

- Participation in company Audits with compliance to statutory requirements

- Partnering in audits - statutory, cost and other audits/details as required by law

- Other costing activities like costing runs and reviews for new codes/product costing
