Finance & Accounting - BFSI

Responsibility:

Controllership:

- Responsible to perform Balance sheet reconciliation/Month end/quarter end/year end activities

- Preparation of accurate Trial Balance and booking of various journal entries along with review

- Ensure minimum aged items in the reconciliation

- Support for SOX audits, MMC internal audit and external audits

Relationship Management:

- Coordinate with Finance Managers for various open items and business updates

- Support to execute monthly flash reports

- Point of contact for proactive and prompt onshore/offshore queries resolution

- Ownership of internal accounting policies and procedures for general accounting functions

Process:

- Adherence to agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and work within the set policies and guidelines.

- Involve in effective utilization as per organization parameters

- Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly closure of books

- Timely upload of reconciliations in Hyperion/OBIEE

Project:

- Support adhoc business projects

- Support efficiency projects at organization level

- Provide support in ramp-ups and ongoing transitions

Knowledge Management:

- Involve and support Domain Learning activities of colleagues

- Involve in knowledge transfer, Prepare and implement through SOP formalization

- Mentor and enhance knowledge for existing resources and provide training to new joinees

Experience:

- 7 plus years of total experience. Should have worked as Individual Contributor in R2R /GL Accounting process for at least 4 - 5 years post qualification

Knowledge & Skills:

- Knowledge of Oracle Financial systems preferred

- Knowledge of Advance Accounting is must.

- Working Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

- Working knowledge required to comprehend & analyze Balance Sheet account

- Have worked on consolidation of accounts

- Exposure of working with business owner and FPNA is required

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills/Excel Macro knowledge preferred

- Experience with international corporations is must

- Advanced Analytical skills

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Education:

- B. COM/ M.COM/CA Inter/CWA Inter/Diploma in Accounting(ACCA)
