Business Strategy and Execution Lead


Overview:


- You are invited for the captioned position. An ideal candidate must be adept at pitching in and contributing at various stages of multiple initiatives and lines of business that are part of the group's current portfolio and future initiatives that will be undertaken as the group's vision evolves.


- Areas of contribution will range from devising winning strategies, formulating goal-oriented plans, monitoring various ventures and initiatives objectively through vital KPIs, expanding the group's vision behind new initiatives and turning them into executable plans.


- You will be required to instil a culture of growth by making plans that are aggressive, yet achievable and measurable.


- You should have an eye for detail and should be able to check the pulse of various initiatives, run diagnostics for identifying lacunas and vulnerabilities, and probe existing and new initiatives to gather deep insights and convert them into actionable intelligence.


- You should be able to seamlessly switch from one project to another across group initiatives akin to secretaries in the PMO.

Job Description:

- It will be incumbent upon you to carry the baton of growth, emulating the founder and remain obligated to take FIITJEE Group to unprecedented levels. Your role shall encompass working with FIITJEE Group's entire growth apparatus, including Managing Partners, Business Evangelists, Territory Business Heads, CXOs of FIITJEE eSchool, Edfora, and other present and future tech ventures at the ideation stage or seed stage.

- You'd be engaging with people at apical positions and your success lies in quickly grasping the vision without any dilution, coherently aligning with the goals, optimally laying down the implementation roadmap and sharply overseeing the execution.

- Develop a cohesive strategic plan by collaborating with the leadership, board, special committees, and consultants.

- Identify strategic risks and ensure that strategic actions are completed at various levels to achieve desired results.

- Analyse the progress and outcomes of products, projects, and activities.

- Analyse market dynamics, market share changes, product line performance, and competitive intelligence.

- Identify and evaluate key capital projects, joint ventures, potential M&A targets, and other strategic partnership opportunities.

- Complete a detailed assessment of the company's portfolio of businesses and assets to develop a plan to drive increased growth in higher margin business while increasing return on invested capital to stakeholders.

- Communicate key business issues, opportunities, and challenges and make recommendations and proposals for decision-making by the leadership.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations

- Proven track record of successfully conceptualizing, launching, and growing multiple businesses or business units, demonstrating strong entrepreneurial skills and the ability to navigate through various stages of business development.

- Demonstrated skills in leadership, management, and collaboration.

- Possesses exceptional creativity and business instincts along with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex situations, identify key opportunities and risks, and develop effective strategies to drive success i.e., led the implementation of complex Tacks/projects, ensuring seamless, on-time delivery, and minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.

- Rich experience in managing and leading teams of varying sizes, including diverse skill sets and backgrounds.

- Strong Communicator: Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums.

- Decisiveness: Must be able to make quick and informed decisions, even when faced with uncertainty and complex situations.

- Proven experience in leading and developing Large, Diverse Teams

- Strong Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with Chairman, Board, and core teams

- Financial Acumen: Sound understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyse financial data, Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

- Industry Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the companies /sector currently working/working.

The ideal candidate will be a B.Tech from an IIT and MBA from a premier college in India / Abroad. Prior demonstrated experience in a similar position is a pre-requisite.

This is a C-level entrepreneurial position.
