Assistant Category Manager Marketing- IIM/FMS/MDI/MICA/ISB

- To ensure category revenue growth and margin improvement- Assist the category manager on launch plan development on new categories/launches on development of product brief, development of launch plan - Sell-in norms, placement norms, creative development, packaging development, sampling plans, BTL plans development

- Lead the day-to-day category creative development BTL and packaging

- Sales trend analysis (Internal and external data Nielsen, Brand Track, Internal Sales Data, Market working wherever available) on a monthly basis to highlight key issues with recommended action plan

- Competitive analysis - To monitor category share and monitor market penetration vis a vis competition in retail universe (modern trade)

- Work with consumer insights team to conduct field visits on the category

- To generate consumer awareness and demand for the category/products- Develop relevant communication solutions to generate awareness & demand for the category both above and below the line

- To develop and launch innovative new products for revenue and image enhancement

- Driving the development process with NPD to create new product offerings that can build the Del Monte brand and thereby maximizing usage and contributing to achieving profitability targets for the company

- Tracking post launch performance regularly and suggesting inputs to improve the same.

- Working with sales management and trade marketing and providing inputs into the monthly sales plan for the category (especially for new products) with a view to achieve monthly/annual targets
