Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, directs, and co-ordinates the team's activities to manage and implement project from proposal initiation to final operational stage
- Build and maintain project schedules that takes into consideration internal/external dependencies, critical paths, WBS and milestones
- Interact with Clients, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features
- Create, manage and review all project economics including costs, budgets, project financials SOW, contracts, proposals, invoices, billing, etc.
- Develop Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - e.g., SOW, project plan, and resource plan
- Ensure resource availability and allocation to Maximize resource utilization and increase efficiency of project performance
- Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management at the appropriate levels.
- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at various levels and contingency planning for unknown risks
- Create, maintain and publish project information and status reports to stakeholders
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple project teams
- Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
- Apply best practices to the software development lifecycle for projects and ensure adherence to established processes and standards
- People management
Key Skills:
- BE / MCA with over 10+ years of over all experience and 4+ years in end to end project management
- PMP / Prince II Certification
- Proven work experience in project management in the information technology sector
- Demonstrate proven ability in managing teams in onsite / offshore model
- Should be people-oriented and demonstrate people management skills to select, coach, develop, mentor, performance manage and reward employees
- Diverse experience in development life cycle management both in Waterfall & Agile methodologies
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and enable problem resolution via judgment, negotiation & decision making skills
- Ability to actively engage business and technology partners
- Excellent client facing and strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across the organization
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with decision making ability
