As a Manager, you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the delivery of the team's objectives, which are as follows :
- Custodians of the group wide financial results
- Reporting independent and objective insight and analysis of the group wide financial results to Senior Management
- Proactive business partners collaborating with finance teams across the globe and ensure global alignment and efficiencies with the Global Process Owner (GPO) where required.
- Delivery of effective and efficient financial control and risk management.
- Driving the agenda for process improvements through project based initiatives
- Responsible for setting clear performance expectations/objectives for each local report, keeping them focused on priority goals and metrics with input from onshore extended team where required.
- Responsible for running the appraisal process for local reports and performance against objectives, with input from onshore extended team where required.
- Responsible for maintaining a constructive and professional relationship with similar onshore grade levels as well as other key onshore and offshore stakeholders.
- Finance - good working knowledge of the following budget management; financial accounting; financial reporting; financial forecasting & modelling; finance & accounting; and has detailed knowledge of financial & operating systems.
- Accountancy - good working knowledge of the following fields: GAAP with experience in general accounting.
- Detailed understanding of the consolidation process.
- Understanding of the key profitability, revenue and cost drivers for Fidelity.
Education :
- Qualified Accountant.
- 7-10 years post qualification experience.
- Significant experience of managing a team.
- Preferential to have experience of working in an extended (offshore-onshore) global team model.
