Location : Delhi - Chattarpur office ( Head Office)
Increase depth & width of product portfolio within the category assigned :
1. Gather insights from end-customers & influencers (procurement consultants etc.) about various needs in relevant areas; Track market trends & competitive activities
2. Generate product ideas based on above insights & lead new product idea prioritization & based on opportunity attractiveness & internal capabilities
3. Work with cross-functional teams to lead commercialization of new products/ addition to category
4. Design & implement product launch plans working with the Marketing Communication & Sales team
5. Ensure a relevant and optimum range of products/ brands are made available for sales within the categories managed - Includes appropriate categorization, cataloging and listing on the website
Deliver financial & service level goals for the categories assigned :
1. Achieve/ Exceed the Sales & Gross margins goals for the categories assigned
2. Pricing & Gross Margin management for the category
3. Own the annual, quarterly and monthly sales & gross margin planning for the assigned category
4. Create necessary sales tools for the category(ies) assigned
5. Participate in customer pitch, product selection & order finalization by supporting the sales team as category/ application experts
6. Plan and implement programs to increase awareness, reach and create demand for the category(ies) assigned - both online & off-line
7. Manage the sampling process with appropriate effectiveness metrics
8. Support the Forecasting & Inventory management process where/ when applicable
9. Own the product complaint redressal process
10. Own the process of timely updation of product information on website, literature and other marketing communications
11. Lead internal & external product training initiatives to ensure effective and consistent selling process
