Summary:
The Corporate IT Head will oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure across the organization. This role will ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives, drive innovation, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
2. IT Governance: Establish and maintain IT governance policies, procedures, and standards.
3. IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including data centers and networks.
4. IT Service Management: Provide IT support and services to employees, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
5. System Management: Oversee the management of IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
6. Application Management: Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications (SAP, others) for formulation related.
7. SAP Operation - Ensure smooth operation, timely resolution of issues and master data maintenance in SAP.
8. Understanding user requirement, Risk Assessment, coordination with development & functional team for smooth implementation & operation of new SAP requirements.
9. Cybersecurity: Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business data and systems.
10. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure IT systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements, such as FDA, cGMP, and data integrity guidelines etc..
11. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
12. Provide support to end-users related to PC, Software & other IT services wherever required.
13. Ensuring licence compliance for all software being used in organization.
14. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage IT budgets and costs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
15. Talent Management: Attract, develop, and retain top IT talent.
16. Vendor Management: Develop IT vendors for supply & services..
17. Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication of IT initiatives and benefits.
18. Supervise IT team members by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, training & counselling. Maintaining a safe and secure work environment & developing personal growth opportunities.
19. Ensure security of Super Admin credentials & access rights, prevent misuse of IT access
# Desired Qualifications
- Education: Master / Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing environment with USFDA approved company/plant.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of IT systems (security, infra, SAP S4 HANA), software, and infrastructure, as well as experience with data management, IT service management, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Experience with pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing processes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and direct IT teams.
