Roles & Responsibilities:

- Responsible to build robust accounting and financial systems and processes to ensure 100% Revenue assurance, 100% statutory compliance

- Finalization of books of accounts and Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly closing of books

- Setting up systems and processes for the organization - for order management / inventory management/ procurement / receivables and payables management etc.

- Implementing best policies and practices for inventory management, organize and manage multi location inventory verification every quarter.

- Comprehensive monthly variance analysis reports for expenses and determine root-cause for each variance

- Liaise with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Lawyers, consultants, statutory authorities, etc

- Ensure Compliance functions for Direct / Indirect Taxes. Review statutory fillings including TDS, service tax, and VAT payments

- Fully responsible for finalization of accounts & monthly reporting

- Monitor internal controls and ensure that all the accounting activities adhere to the policies

- Closely working with IT Team and lead automation of various processes from finance perspective

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Chartered Accountant with 4-7 years experience with some background of Big 4s

- Highly ambitious with strong interests in the ecommerce industry eCommerce and Retail experience is highly preferred

- Excellent knowledge of financial statements, operational metrics, accounting, direct & indirect taxation, corporate laws, SAP (preferably Navision), top-tier accounting practices,

- Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to dis-aggregate issues, develop hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations from data and analysis

- Shares knowledge and coaches others in accounting, taxation, analytical tools and techniques

- Extremely high integrity

- Strong knowledge of stock audit practices and taxation in retail company

- Strong communication skills, super reliable and manage pressure well

- Result-oriented, Proactive, hard-working and enthusiastic approach to work

- Excellent Excel and computer applications skills

- Entrepreneurial at heart and likes to take ownership
