Farm X - Senior General Manager/Head - Logistics

Experience/ Skills :

- 10 + years in Logistics/ supply chain, preferably trucking.

- Accountable for the profit and loss ; Acting CEO- Logistics Vertical.

- Entire responsibility of logistics vertical in E farm Exchange with constant interaction with Field Officers /Franchises/ Tech Officers / Buyers .

- Maintain strong business relationships with the Logistic Service providers.

- Periodically review performance and develop closer collaboration with selected logistic service providers to leverage the sharing of operational knowledge, finally resulting in optimized logistics cost

- Strengthen the logistic service providers database to continuously meet the E Farm Exchange requirements with regards to their professionalism, integrity, quality and cost of services offered, though systematic performance monitoring and feed-back.

- Review and implement logistics procedures. Ensure compliance to these procedures as per regulations of the Govt/Industry and initiate corrective action in case of non-compliance.

- Generate statistical data on logistic services. Create analytical intelligence reports to optimize costs of logistics.

- Come up with innovative ideas on ensuring efficient and low cost contracts.

- Extensive network and relationship with truck owners/dealers Pan India.

- Extensive knowledge on the latest technologies used in logistics

- Should have handled minimum of atleast 8-10 truck movements /day

- Meet or Exceed the Logistics KPIs
