Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
Position Overview :
The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that Robot department meets or exceeds sales, revenue and profit targets through effective management and scheduling of all work, and effectively leading sales team. Perform technical sales management, lead and mentor sales team and provide leadership direction to attaining & closing new sales leads and deals in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Establishes and achieves strategic departmental goals to match corporate objectives and achieve Robot sales targets.
- Collaborate with the Robot Sales team to achieve Organizational Goals.
- Liaison with system engineering team for all pre-sales activities.
- Work closely with Head of Robots to determine most effective directions and processs for growing sales and revenues of the business vertical.
- Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts.
- Report on Business plan, Budgets, monthly achievements to Management, Internal report preparation for monthly presentations / financial statement preparation.
- Ability to analyze the business reports of Managers and engineers and take necessary measures.
- Forecast and order for packages in co-ordination with Supply Chain. Preparation of action plan for maintaining minimal inventory and optimize the Delivery time.
Employer Branding : Strategize to create, develop, and foster new customers.
- Resolve customer needs in a timely manner.
- Participate and represent FANUC INDIA in appropriate Forums, Industry Shows and Exhibitions.
Profile expectation :
- MBA from Premier Institute is a must. BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Mechatronics preferred.
- 10-12 years of professional experience, minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
- Interest in Robotic field & Robotic Applications preferred.
- Experience in Capital equipment sales and Project management is a must.
- Knowledge on engineering concepts and machining processes.
- Strong customer management skills are a must.
- Good communication skills for liaison with Top Management and other departments.
- Demonstrated management skills including organization, problem-solving, prioritizing, documentation, leadership, motivational and cooperative team management.
- Technical aptitude - ability to research, understand and communicate concepts associated with latest technology.
- Able to thrive in an environment characterized by high growth, participation, and change.
- Maintain poise and focus under time constraint pressures and adverse conditions.
- Proficient to use MS Office applications.
- Experience with ERP/SAP and business application software.
- Flair to travel extensively and meet creative people in the engineering world.
