Factory Head - FMCG Manufacturing

Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced Factory Head to lead operations at our FMCG manufacturing facility in Kathua, near Jammu. This role requires expertise in production, maintenance, engineering, and HR, ensuring smooth operations while driving efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Plant Management: Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and cost optimization.

- Team Leadership: Manage a team of 5-6 direct reports, including production, engineering, HR, and maintenance teams.

- Production Planning & Execution: Ensure smooth production workflows, optimizing resources to meet business goals.

- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP), maintaining high product quality standards.

- Engineering & Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance programs, reducing downtime and improving efficiency.

- HR & Workforce Management: Work closely with the HR team on manpower planning, training, and labor management.

- Cost & Budget Control: Optimize operational costs while maintaining production efficiency and safety.

- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, safety, and waste reduction.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with senior management, supply chain, and quality teams to align plant operations with business objectives.

Key Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in plant operations, preferably in FMCG, dairy, or ice cream manufacturing.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

- Expertise in production, engineering, maintenance, and HR management.

- In-depth knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP standards.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Experience in working with automated manufacturing setups is a plus.

- Should be open to relocating to Kathua, Jammu region.
