Position : Factory Controller

Location : Mumbai (Ambarnath)

Education : CA

Total Experience : 8 to 12 years

Reporting : CFO

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable :

- Expenses accounting

- Verification and approval of plant expenses

- Budgeted / Forecasting VS Actual Variance Analysis

2. General Ledger : 

- Budgeted / Forecasting VS Actual Variance Analysis

- Expenses scrutiny and trend analysis

- Plant P&L

- Scrutiny of GL related to factory

3. Costing : 

- Product costing

- Inventory valuation

- Cycle/ physical count

- E&O / slow moving / Inv aging

- Material accounting

- WO completion & average rate verification

- PPV

- Production labour and overhead calculations

- Efficiency / productivity analysis

- Scrap / defective accounting & timely disposal

- Make v/s Buy Analysis

- Fright analysis

4. Assets

- Fixed asset management - budget / CSR / Purchase / Accounting / Physical Verification / Disposal

5. Statutory Tax Compliances : 

- Plant related compliances like ESIC / PF / TDS / Customs / Labour etc.

6. Agreements/ Contacts reviews :

- Scrutiny of factory related agreements/ contacts & ensure compliances

7. Budget : 

- Formulation & compilation of plant budget

8. Cost Saving / Productivity :

- Actively participate & initiate cost saving & productivity improvements in factory

9. Exception Reporting : 

- Develop daily / weekly / monthly structure reporting highlighting performance / exception / improvement area of factory

10. Audit / Assessment : 

- Handle audit with respect to plant, provide support for tax assessments
