Media team manages strategic relationships with our key media partners & public figures across Entertainment, News & Sports for public content on Facebook. The team is the face of Facebook to our external relationships and gets to work with some of the biggest celebrities, athletes, journalists, talents, movie studios, news publishers & media companies across India. Facebook is seeking a partner services specialist in the Rights Management role. This role will identify, plan and execute initiatives that build relationship with Media partners across music companies, content creators, networks, movie production houses, news organizations and publishers to ensure that these relationships meet the objectives of partners and Facebook, and serve as the primary point of contact for rights management both internal and external stakeholders. A demonstrated passion for the Media & Entertainment industry and how it intersects with technology are must for this job.
The Partnerships team is the external arm of Facebook and works with the world's largest and most exciting organizations on high-profile projects across the full suite of Facebook products.
Responsibilities:
- Specialize in Rights Manager - closely interacting with related cross-functional teams and be the key go-to person for the Media Partnerships team
- Own the Rights Manager onboarding process for Media Partners and follow-up support
- Research rights structure and ownership with Media Partners to assess relevant risks on Content assets
- Support Strategic Partner Managers in resolving IP related escalations
- Address inbound from Partners and follow-ups from Partners
- Manage strategy, implementation and optimization of Facebook's strategic partnerships
- Provide high touch support and timely solutions to build long term relationships and trust across Media partners
- Collaborate with partners to develop innovative and high-impact social integrations, and drive operational management of partnership projects
- Be an internal advocate within Facebook for partners, including with internal product teams
- Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that Facebook is taking partner input into account in relevant product and policy decisions
- Track, analyze and communicate quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and their goals
- Ensure the success of partners on Facebook through training and consultations
- Develop and catalogue best practices leveraging internal and external learnings across verticals Support with events and other on-ground activities and setup
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or MBA with outstanding academic performance
- Proven and solid experience in Partner management, client servicing or operations
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, client servicing or operations
- Understanding of digital rights and related exploitation
- Previous experience in digital rights management products, copyright protection
- Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Extremely meticulous, consistent and hard-working
- Language skills a plus (Hindi, specifically)
