Job Title: Senior Consultant - Technology Consulting (Government & Public Sector)

Job Summary:

EY India is looking for a highly experienced Senior Consultant to join its Technology Consulting team in the Government and Public Sector (GPS) vertical. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Project/Program Management, DPR (Detailed Project Report) preparation, Procurement, and Vendor Management, with a proven track record in delivering successful IT/e-Governance projects. You will play a crucial role in driving transformation through innovative digital solutions for government initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage large-scale IT/e-Governance projects with government clients, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Develop comprehensive Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and proposals for government initiatives.

- Drive the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including preparing RFPs, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor onboarding.

- Manage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including government officials, vendors, and internal teams.

- Oversee and monitor project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets.

- Lead the vendor management process, ensuring efficient performance, quality control, and risk mitigation.

- Provide strategic consulting and advisory services to government clients on technology implementation, process improvement, and digital transformation.

- Ensure compliance with government regulations, procurement guidelines, and IT governance policies.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT consulting, e-Governance, or technology program management, specifically within the government or public sector.

- Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, DPR preparation, Procurement, and Vendor Management.

- Hands-on experience in managing large-scale technology or IT transformation programs for government entities.

- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior government officials and vendors.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value through technology solutions.

- Familiarity with government digital transformation initiatives and policies.

- Prior experience working with state and central government IT projects is a plus.]
