EY - SAS Analytics Lead

Skills and attributes for success :

- Should have knowledge of different programming languages such as Base SAS, SAS EG, SAS Eminer etc. for at least 3.5+ years

- To qualify for the role you must have

- Should have knowledge of different programming languages such as Base SAS, SAS EG, SAS Eminer etc. for at least 3.5+ years

- At least 3.5 years experience in performing a variety of statistical analysis using tools such as SAS,SPSS etc.

- Experience in predictive analytics using data mining tools

- Experience related to areas of fraud detection, risk analysis

- Good understanding of statistics is expected.

- Should be familiar with statistical tests, distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.

- Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms like k-nearest neighbors, random forests, ensemble methods etc.

- Experience required in data sampling, variance estimation, statistical modeling, hypothesis building and testing, imputation and related areas

- Should have an understanding of R, Python, Java, SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Pig and/or MapReduce

- Experience in analyzing raw data and using the results of such analyses to produce reports for decision-making purposes

- Good understanding of design and architecture principles

- Doing the ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

- Ideally, you'll also have

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Being able to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment as in a competitive landscape new data keeps flowing in rapidly and the world is constantly changing

- Should have a natural desire to go beneath the surface of a problem and should enjoy diving deep into the material to find an answer to a yet unknown question
