We are looking for delivering mid to large scale Finance Change & Finance Regulatory projects you will have the opportunity to work with a high performing projects team. Project & Change team is entrusted with the responsibility of running mandatory projects that are driven the demand of the regional regulators and involves changes in the process and system architecture.
Key requirements for the role
- As a project manager, your core responsibilities will include project management, coordinating, supporting solution design, development, functional testing and production of project artefacts. You are expected to work collaboratively with the finance function and enabling teams such as technology, systems operations and data & transformation.
- PM, with Finance Regulatory Change delivery background, to manage multiple imminent reg mandatory deliverables for company's including FinRep, RUBA, AnaCredit including EU Taxonomy.Analysis skillsets to provide inputs into requirements gathering, with Axiom experience preferable.
- You Possess a strong appreciation of key business drivers and an understanding of the impact of "change" upon the business.
- You'll have Proven experience as a project manager on change projects preferably in regulatory, Structural reforms and capital reporting.
- You'll be managing the FMG Pipeline of significant change/LIFT initiatives, including budgets and ongoing control of projects.
- You'll be providing strong governance framework for projects across FMG, ensuring strategic alignment and a common understanding of the drivers and outcomes for success.
- You'll demonstrate resilience and effectively manage ambiguity related to the projects and managing multiple stakeholders and have focused and quality interactions view to drive decisions and mitigate project risks.
- You'll be communicating regularly with the project manager and/or the work stream leads including providing accurate & timely status updates, roadblocks and areas of improvement.
- You'll be providing accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and highlight risks/issues.
- You'll manage Working Groups meeting and plan/track deliverables with finance teams.
- You'll demonstrate the ability to work with Multiple finance teams and understanding business context to develop project plan/documents.
- You'll documenting testing approach, Go-live criteria & managing documentation as per prescribed project Management governance and required approvals process
- You'll be working closely with the technology team to ensure build is in lines with expectation of the stakeholders.
- You'll demonstrate working knowledge of data flows and linkages between different systems & teams.
- You'll demonstrate Effective presentation skills, Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills.
- You'll demonstrate proactive approach to anticipating client needs, issues and challenges, and initiating solutions.
Desirable Skills :
- To be successful in this role you should have a tertiary qualification preferably CA, CMA, CS, or alternately, B. Com with CPA / ICWA/ MBA Overall post-qualification experience of around 6-10 years with about 4-6 years of relevant experience in project management in accounting, Structural reforms & regulatory projects in the Financial Services industry.
- You should have expertise to deliver system change projects and ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently.
- Preferred, At least one project management or quality certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification & Knowledge of different finance systems, databases and platforms.
- Project plan, JIRA prioritisation/tracking, RAID management, governance/materials messaging.
- You should also have strong documentation skills with the ability to produce fit for purpose project artefacts in accordance with project governance.
