EY - Procurement Consultant

We are looking for Procurement expert having experience with Government clients. The role requires working with Government clients to provide financial or procurement expertise in Agri related projects for the state government.

Responsibilities :

- Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.

- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.

- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.

- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- More than 7- years' experience in Finance and Procurement, at least 5 years' experience in Public

Procurement in a Central/State Govt Department or bilateral/ multilateral projects.

- MBA/PG in relevant discipline or equivalent

Ideally, you'll also have :

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.

- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client).

- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
