EY - People Advisory Services (PAS) - Individual Tax Consultant - CA

EY is looking for PAS - Individual Tax Consultant, as a member of the PAS team focused on tax and regulatory, you will join a talented group of professionals that offer a comprehensive blend of tax advisory, tax litigation, regulatory and compliance services, helping you navigate through complex client engagements.

Your Key Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate technical competence in our capabilities and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges.

- Be up to date with key technical and functional skills, and industry trends.

- Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement.

- Support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation. including identifying and helping manage any potential issues and risks during a client assignment.

- Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment.

- Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities, by preparing proposals, presentations for potential clients and thought leadership brochures.

- Identify and flag any follow-on engagement opportunities.

- Support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation.

Skills Required :

- Passion to work in individual tax, expat tax, global mobility, direct tax, field.

- Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and communication skills.

- Experience in tax and regulatory support for global mobility.

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.

- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.

- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client).

- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.

- Responsibility towards work, deadlines and team.

To Qualify you must have :

- A qualified Chartered Accountant.

- 1 to 4 years of prior experience in People Advisory Services.

- Relevant professional experience, including for example previous work with a global mobility consultancy firm, niche consultancy or performed an in-house role in which you gained exposure.
