As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.

The opportunity:

We are looking for a seasoned Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) Expert to join our dynamic finance consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and improving poor performing business processes, driving efficiency, and improving overall business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a finance service offerings.

Your key responsibilities:

- Conduct workshops with clients to perform current state As-Is process assessment and design & optimize Future state processes as per leading practices & industry benchmarks.

- Experience with finance functions - 'Record to report', 'Procure to pay' and 'Order to cash' processes and ensure all redesigned processes comply with financial regulations and controls.

- Identify process improvement opportunities using automation, technology upgradation & process standardization.

- Provide high-level consulting and re-engineering efforts to align financial functions and operations with business objectives.

- Create L1-L5 "As-Is" and "To-Be" process mapping using tools such as ARIS, IBM Blueworks, and Visio etc.

- Strong accounting skills and understands financial reports and statements.

- Experience in process mining tools such as Celonis, UiPath etc is good to have.

- Good Knowledge on ledger and sub-ledger systems; functional know-how of SAP FICO & Oracle GLs.

- Translate business requirements to technical language and model.

- Train and mentor staff on new process changes and adjust the training program as necessary.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure.

- Open to travel (Domestic & International)

To qualify for the role, you must have:

- A minimum 5-12 years of experience along with master's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA/CA or related advanced degree is preferred.

- Proven experience as a Business Process Re-engineering Expert within the finance sector.

- Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record in identifying and improving process inefficiencies.

- Knowledge and experience with business process mapping and financial systems.

- Prior experience in financial consulting or business process improvement roles.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively at all levels of the company.

- Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills is highly preferred.

- Certifications such as Celonis, UiPath is good to have.
