Product Manager
Job Summary :
- This position is expected to lead a group of product managers to ensure alignment of the solutions to EY Knowledge strategy and their lifecycle management in cadence with EY Technology SAFe Program Increments.
- This position ensures that the team follows the defined methodology for effective product management of these tools to meeting the needs of EY Knowledge users.
Digital solutions under this portfolio are :
1. Content harvesting/sourcing tool: Discover Submission Bot
2. Knowledge Strategy, Talent & Operations tools (EYK Project Tracker, People Data Manager, TRAVIS)
- In addition, this role is responsible for technology enablement of EYK automation projects.
- The role collaborates with Enterprise Technology team to review and align solution designs to dependent product architecture, address Legal, Risk and InfoSec concerns, and determining cost estimates for value proposition in business cases.
- Managing automations centrally enables the broader team to gain maximum value from the opportunities provided by automation
Essential Functions of the Job :
- Work with Team Leadership and product managers to recommend appropriate strategy for each tool/service
- Ensure existing products provide maximum benefit to users balanced by investment
- Work collaboratively with portfolio leads where synergies exist or there is an impact on the processes/tools that Operations team manages
- Work collaboratively with the Support Lead on changes to products that would impact analysts supporting processes related to those products
When improvements/enhancements are required :
- Lead platform/solution strategy and planning activities
- Oversee platform and solution development and enhancement projects and partnering with IT Services to ensure successful delivery
- Manage project/program scope variance(s), anticipate time and budget overruns, communicate and effectively resolves project/program-related challenges (with appropriate support)
- Ensure effective testing and business readiness
- Lead platform/solution operations
- Establish and implement an effective, consistent Bot management methodology, collaborating with EY Knowledge leadership, Service Excellence, Auto Central and EY Technology
- Ensure effective project management of approved automation opportunities, working collaboratively with process owners, EY Knowledge leadership, Service Excellence, Auto Central and EY Technology
- Ensure effective maintenance and improvements of existing automations, following the process to ensure effective use of firm resources for the expected benefit
- Responsible for quality of work delivered by the Operations team
- Manage team assignments and workload
- Provide team with development opportunities and ensure the team leverages learning opportunities to develop in their careers
Knowledge & Skills Requirements :
- Strong understanding of broad technology and tools (RPA, machine learning, cloud), including a strong understanding of EY's technology landscape and infrastructure and how its various components function together.
- Strong understanding of end to end content management processes.
- Strong understanding of the automation governance
- Knowledgeable of the ways in which collaboration solutions will be utilized by EY client-serving professionals.
- Strong process modeling competency
- Strong leadership, management and relationship skills, including delegating, coaching and mentoring
- Excellent project/program management skills (stakeholder management, negotiation, influencing)
- Proven track record in virtual management of geographically dispersed team. Able to align a set of individuals from different geographies and cultures around a shared set of goals and objectives.
- Able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional, virtual team both within Knowledge Services and more broadly across EY Knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills
- The ability to work well under pressure, produce multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize conflicting needs
- The ability to develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and EY Knowledge leadership
- Ability to compromise to achieve outcomes that support the firm's overall strategy.
- Understanding of the business and demonstrated commercial acumen using commercial language that presents knowledge activities in the context of business objectives
Job Requirements :
Education : Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 10+ years of related experience, with supervisory responsibility
