Job Summary:

The Business Operations (BusOps) team supports EY Knowledge to help EY win and deliver in the market by enabling EY Knowledge leadership, its functions and people with consistent talent, finance, integrated knowledge planning and reporting tools and processes with the aim of delivering efficiency gains, consistent methodologies, and a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and excellence across the knowledge organization. The team's key objectives are:

- Optimize the value creation of the knowledge organization through an integrated knowledge planning process

- Leading financial and budgetary planning and support for EY Knowledge

- Co-develop EY Knowledge's strategic financial, people and growth plan, establish effective budget management and controls and develop, deploy and reporting and KPIs

- Instill a strong sense of partnership with the receiving organizational units and drive operational precision and consistency

- Manage consistent talent and finance processes, tools and reporting, ensuring continuous improvement, automation and optimization

- Build and drive an innovation culture and report on our progress

The Operations support lead/associate - Operations assists with the execution of operational activities and policies for GDS India operations team. This role directly supports the GDS Business Operations Program Manager as a connection point to more efficiently drive processes, policies or other administrative items across Knowledge and associated locations. The role strengthens the GDS Knowledge operations team by adding support and tactical capability to drive initiatives to support the global GDS Knowledge locations with consistency and efficiencies in the processes.

Purpose of the Job:

- Managing all aspects of operations, compliance and risk management

- Responsible for carrying out and managing the majority of financial and operational transactions required by EY Knowledge, including management of invoicing and billing

- Mapping and enabling business processes and identifying improvement opportunities

- Lead initiatives to drive data quality and continuous improvement programs

- Focus on automation opportunities and enhance current tools

- Manage various aspects of GDS operations and seamlessly integrate the team

- Take charge of standardization and centralization of operational activities across locations

- Share best practices amongst different teams and reduce duplicities and manual interventions

- Manage and ensure business continuity plans

- Analyse and manage large quantities of data and identify trends to provide meaningful insights and actions

- Proactively identify complex issues, and drives innovative solutions.

- Serve as a connection point to team with the global EY Knowledge operations team

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for operationalizing many financial and business matters for one or more business areas in order to achieve the intended results in a timely and effective manner within the GDS Operations team and within the broader EY Knowledge organization. This role also expected to manage easy to moderate projects that require the ability to create and implement timelines related to project deliverables, assign tasks and follow up on their completion and manage sponsor/stakeholder expectations of the outcome of the deliverables.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

- Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships across levels and functions

- Must be able to set and meet deadlines, while working in a multi-tasking and faced-paced working environment

- Strong technical skills - MS Excel (including Macros), MS Power Bi, basic knowledge of SQL and SharePoint

- Ability to work both independently and within teams, leading initiatives and participating as a key member of virtual, broad-based teams

- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives at one time.

- Ability to utilize and leverage internal subject matter resources.

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills-verbal and written.

- Excellent data aggregation, management and synthesis skills.

- Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the services offered by business areas of responsibility, understand how those services are delivered to clients, and what role specialists play in delivering those services.

- Ability to work effectively within a global and virtual team spanning multiple countries/cultures.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree

Experience:

- 3-7 years in organizational support / analytics

- Demonstrated ability to execute against project plans and expectations

- Demonstrated ability to interact with leadership, stakeholders and constituents

- Professional services firm work experience
