The opportunity
We're looking for the incumbents who are responsible to coach, mentor and develop a strong team, manage utilization and grow the depth and breadth of our support to the organization's priority engagements.
Your key responsibilities -
- Champion and lead the global, priority accounts for the designated region
- Contribute and add value to complex engagement (expected to do chargeable work execution or review)
- Perform review on an ongoing basis and take corrective steps where necessary or make incremental improvements
- Develop working relationship with the Assurance team Senior or Assistant Manager to ensure effective integration between teams
- Coordination, supervision, and development of a growing team of AMSs (Associates and Senior Associates)
- To facilitate establishment of new work from project initiation to business-as-usual stage
- Team development, including mentoring, counseling and team building
- Responsible for quality control, review of the team's work, and ensuring overall adherence to turnaround time
- Ensuring all protocol-related documents are up-to-date and being followed by the respective teams. E.g. Portfolio allocation, VOC, etc.
- Act as an owner of all process-related documents and ensure that they are up-to-date,
- Facilitating knowledge sharing
- Proactively escalate any major delays in service delivery and suggest effective and feasible solutions
- Conduct monthly meetings with counselees and send minutes of the meetings to reporting managers of counselees
- Relationship building with the engagement team
- Manage attrition in the team
- Drive quality culture and promote process improvements in the team
- Assist in hiring, documentation, training and other related aspects
- Contribute to the culture of the broader team
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Strong computer skills, viz. proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Outlook and Internet.
- Proactive, organized and self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize work and multitask
- Analyze complex or unusual problems and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions
- Strong organizational and management skills with ability to delegate work effectively
- Excellent people skills with the ability to promote teamwork and lead and motivate a group of 10-15 team members
- Ability to effectively summarize and conclude work, applying appropriate documentation standards
- Ability to pay attention to details and meet tight deadlines, ensuring that high-quality work is done consistently
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 6-8 years of overall work experience with over 3 years of demonstrated experience in process management and project management (MBA or Certified PMP preferred) and over 3 years of experience in people management.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Interest in business and commerciality.
